Values and Beliefs

Values and Beliefs
The Bethel education community collectively values honesty, responsibility, self-discipline, a strong work ethic, high expectations, communication, and respect for cultural diversity, the earth, self, family, elders, and the world community.

Together, we believe that:
-All children can learn.
-Children learn at different rates and in different ways.
-Students learn best when their basic needs are met for love, food,
shelter, exercise and rest.
-School should provide a safe and caring learning environment.
-Curriculum should be developmentally appropriate and allow choices
for varied interests.
-Goal-setting, planning and problem-solving skills are necessary for
all students.
-Learning is life-long.
