LKSD Schools will be CLOSED from September 2-September 6 in observance of the Labor Day holiday and Teacher Fall Conference. School will resume on September 9, 2024.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS at ME and we Will continue with our incentive program. Students and their families can and will benefit from perfect attendance each day. Gift cards, Free Skating nights with special incentives, social media recognition, and other prizes. You are the key to perfect attendance!

Dear Bethel Campus Community, With the BRHS lot s&ll under construction, there will be less parking available for parents, students, and teachers. Additionally, there will be increased traffic during student drop off and pick up from August 14, 2024 to August 30, 2024.

M.E. students had the chance to learn about animals from around the world at the "Jackson Zoo" yesterday. Mr. Kingsella's first grade classroom was transformed by students into an interactive zoo exhibit.

Our carnival is this Friday! We are accepting silent auction items through Wednesday. We are also seeking volunteers to assist at the carnival; call the office if you would like to sign up to volunteer. See you all Friday!

LKSD is participating in the Meals to You Alaska demonstration program. This is a 12-week Summer Food Service Program which will provide a 5-day meal box directly shipped to students who enroll in the program.

M.E. students have always celebrated the K300 dog sled race with our K300 song and K300 reading challenge. This year we also brought back an old tradition of baking cookies for the K300 mushers.

School picture day for ME will be Friday, October 6. Community photos will be taken at Ayaprun Elitnaurvik, Thursday, Oct. 5.

What do you do if your child has any symptoms of illness? When can your student come to school after travel?

Bethel Schools Release 30 minutes early on Fridays. M.E. dismissal is 1:30. To avoid the most crowded part of dismissal, we recommend parents come to pick up their children between 1:35pm and 1:55pm on Fridays.

The bus schedules for ME and for all Bethel Schools are available. Please make sure to read the bussing protocols and talk to your children about riding the bus safely. Masking and social distancing will be required.
