Pick Up and Drop Off ANNOUNCEMENTS for this Week (Oct. 19-23)
As a reminder, we would like to see all Quarter 1 student work by Wednesday, October 21st.
Tuesday October 20th
“Early Bird” Drop-off Hours from 1:00pm-5pm
You can drop off iPads on Tuesday if your child’s week of work is done early.
Wednesday October 21st
ME School staff will be ready to help you from 7:45am-6:30pm.
No-waiting Method: Drop off your child’s completed work and iPad. A staff member will write down your name, phone number, and delivery address so that we can deliver the new materials and the iPad to you later in the day, or the next day if you drop off the iPad after noon.
• Please have your child’s iPad ready for AirDrop before you come. (See below for how to do that.)
If you need to arrange to drop off or pick up materials outside of the normal weekly times listed above, please call ahead (907-543-2845) to make sure we will be available to help you.
GET THE IPAD READY FOR AIRDROP
We want to help you as quickly as possible when you drop off work and pick up new learning materials. Following these “tech tips” will make your AirDrop quick and easy.
• Make sure the iPad is charged. (If the iPad is below 5% battery, we will likely have to keep it for a while to charge it before we can AirDrop to it.)
• Make sure the iPad is ready to receive from “Everyone” in AirDrop before you get to school.
1. Place your finger at the top right corner of the iPad screen near the battery life indicator. Drag your finger toward the middle of the iPad screen to see a menu of items appear on the screen.
2. Tap the circular AirDrop icon shown below in picture 2.
3. Tap “Everyone” (picture 3) to make a check mark by it so that we will be able to locate the iPad in AirDrop.
